Before getting involved in the development world, Sandy was a captain on the east coast and the Caribbean. Throughout his real estate career, he has worked on neighborhood development projects helping with planning and marketing, represented buyers and sellers across a multitude of diverse transactions, and upon becoming a partner at Parastream has transitioned his focus to investment and development opportunities in the greater Wilmington market.

Sandy attended Virginia Episcopal School eventually leading him to University of Mississippi for college. He lives in Wilmington with his wife Allie, son Nash and dog Dare. When not working, Sandy enjoys spending time on his boats with family.

Sandy Thorpe is a Partner in Parastream Development and is responsible for the management and acquisitions of Parastream. He also recently founded Thorpe Co., separate from Parastream where he will focus on other acquisitions in the greater Cape Fear area.

Prior to Parastream, Andy was the President of Paramount Group SC, a full-service real estate company in Charleston, SC that provided 3rd party brokerage, management, and construction services to Real Estate investors as well as acquiring and repositioning distressed assets in-house.
 

In 2020, Andy sold Paramount Group SC and relocated to Wilmington, NC to focus solely on commercial development opportunities. Now Andy not only manages the Bottle Works Project with Parastream but has developed a new development firm, A.C. Hewitt with some very exciting projects on the horizon. Throughout his career, Andy has managed over $40 million in property assets as well as over $75M in construction. Andy is originally from Cincinnati, OH and obtained his BA from Clemson University. Andy resides in Wilmington, NC with his wife Lillie and their two dogs. When not focused on work, Andy enjoys spending his time enjoying fishing , hunting, and boating.
